The Game
Submarino is a game about navigating a submarine in the complete darkness. You have to orientate through a maze by hearing a sonar and dodging subaquatic mines. The objective is to exit the maze as fast as possible to get a high score on the leaderboard.

Development
This game was developed at the 2018 Global Game Jam, an event where participants all over the world get a “keynote” and then develop a game about it., this year’s keynote was “Transmission”, and was made as a 5 person group. I helped coming up with the idea of a game you can play only by hearing the sound and joining it to the event’s theme, using a sound you transmit to navigate the map. It was my first time participating at a game making event, I enjoyed a lot helping with game design tasks and testing the game, I also had lots of fun making the sound effects.
